Hand Made Solid Beech Kitchens
Here is an example of a Beech Kitchen fitted in North Wales. All the fronts of the units are hand constructed of solid Beech wood. The interior of the units are constructed of solid Red Pine and stained to complement the Beech where requested.
All drawers are dove tailed joined and the doors are mortise & tenon assembled. The benefit of using solid Beech is that it is also hard stable durable wood of a pleasantly light colour. Generally the contours of the wood are straight and uncomplicated with very few or no knotting at all, as can be seen from the photos. There are a number of options regarding knobs and hinges which can be selected during the design process, polished Beech wood knobs are very popular.
We also manufacture different styles of doors and fronts, having three basic styles:- Shaker, traditional and raised panel. Almost all our interior shelving is set on adjustable wooden pegs to suit your storage requirements.
Pull out steel storage trays can also be fitted to almost all units as well as environmentally friendly selective rubbish disposals systems. There are many other items which can be included in your kitchen such as, tray space, wine racks, towel rails, internal bottle racks etc.
With regards to work tops there is a whole range of possibilities including:-
- 50mm Solid Red Pine
- 40mm Solid Oak, Beach, Cherry, Iroco, Teak, Maple
- 30mm Granite of many different colours
