Hand Made Solid Maple Kitchens
Here is an example of a Maple Kitchen fitted in North Wales. All the fronts of the units are hand constructed of solid Maple wood.
The interior of the units are constructed of solid Red Pine and stained to complement the Maple where requested. All drawers are dove tailed joined and the doors are mortise & tenon assembled. The benefit of using solid Maple is that it is a lovely light coloured durable wood with a lot of character including contours and knotting, Every panel of wood is unique and pleasant to look at.
If there is a shortage of natural light in the kitchen Maple wood (being very light in colour) will reflect all natural light and brighten the whole room. There are a number of options regarding knobs and hinges which can be selected during the design process. We also manufacture different styles of doors and fronts, having three basic styles:- Shaker, traditional and raised panel. This kitchen has the raised panel design.
Almost all our interior shelving is set on adjustable wooden pegs to suit your storage requirements. Pull out steel storage trays can also be fitted to almost all units as well as environmentally friendly selective rubbish disposals systems.
There are many other items which can be included in your kitchen such as, tray space, wine racks, towel rails, internal bottle racks, spice racks etc.
With regards to work tops there is a whole range of possibilities including:-
- 50mm Solid Red Pine
- 40mm Solid Oak, Beach, Cherry, Iroco, Teak, Maple
